The Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB) has started taking delivery of the first batch of the procured 22,150 lockers and 22,150 chairs for primary school children

The Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB) has started taking delivery of the first batch of the procured 22,150 lockers and 22,150 chairs for primary school children and 1,228 tables, 1,228 arm chairs and 2,456 armless chairs for the teachers, recently approved by Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s administration.

Other learning tools approved for conducive learning environment include 1130 marker boards for teaching and 1,960 ceiling fans.

These are in addition to the ongoing construction/reconstruction of 263 classroom blocks for primary education.

It is worthy of note that 589 primary and junior secondary school blocks have been constructed and renovated in the last four years of the present administration.

Enugu State is truly in the hands of God. #amokelouis

Esimone Assumes Office As The New Unizik VC By Izunna Okafor It was indeed a moment of encomium and jubilation as Prof. Charles Okechukwu Esimone officially took over and assumed office as the sixth substantive Vice Chancellor of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. The handover ceremony which took place on Monday at the School Auditorium attracted dignitaries who came from both within and outside the country to felicitate with the duo, including the Old Boys Association of Prof. Charles's alma mater from Cameroon. Presenting the blueprint with which he is going to pilot the affairs of the school for the next five years, the new Vice Chancellor, Prof. Charles  Esimone, whose joy knew no bound noted that he was coming into the job with a vision primed on promoting the highest standard of academic excellence, productive community service, administrative reforms, discipline and advances in matrix of human capacity building, infrastructural development and students/staff welf
