OBIANO ISSUES CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION TO IGWE ELECTS OF UMUNNACHI AND OCHIUCHE COMMUNITIES RESPECTIVELY

AWKA: The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano on Thursday July 4th, 2019, issues CERTIFICATES of recognition to the newly elected Igwe of Umunnachi in Dunukofia Local Government Area, HRH Igwe Engr. Sir. Igwebuike Ben Anochie and HRH Igwe Barr. Ossy Ike Ijeoma of Ochiuche at the governor's lodge, Amawbia.

His Excellency, in his remarks, reminded the new traditional rulers that, they should remember that, the peace and security of their community are the utmost interest of his government.

He charged them, it is their duty to burry the hatchet of whatever happened in the past, and work for the interest of their respective communities.

He congratulated them and wished them well in their reigns as traditional rulers.

Present at the event are; the traditional rulers of Anambra State, led by their Chairman, Obi Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe, the Obi of Onitsha, the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Greg Obi, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Town Union and Chieftaincy Matters, Barr. Vera Queen Okonkwo and many others.
