Ikedim Ohakim writes EFCC, asks the Commission to arrest, prosecute and jail Oye.
AIF Media
AIF Media has obtained a petition against Ozo Victor Ike Oye, the factional national chairman of APGA.
The petition was written by Chief Ikedi Ohakim, the former governor of Imo state and 2019 APGA governorship aspirant in Imo state.
In the petition to the anti grant agency, Ohakim alleged that Oye duped him of 300,000 dollars and another 100 million naira with a fake promise that he would conduct a free and fair primary election for the party in Imo state.
The former governor of Imo state asked EFCC to investigate and arrest Oye for fleecing him under false pretence.
"It is therefore, as a result of the faith I and other Nigerians repose in you and the government of President Muhammad Buhari that I request that you urgently use your good offices to compel the National Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Victor Ike Oye, to refund the said monies collected from me, or in the absence of refund, prosecute him for obtaining $300,000 and N100M from me on false pretenses", Ohakim concluded.
Here is the full petition.
