 The people-oriented legislature representing Orumba South Constituency, Hon. Engr. Emmanuel Obinna Nwafor, yesterday led his Colleagues from Anambra South to Flagoff the Anambra South Traditional rulers Forum Retreat holding at Eagle Destiny Hotels Ihiala, Anambra State.

The retreat aims at Discussing the 2021 Governorship Election, modalities and solutions to bring power to Anambra South Senatorial Zone.

Speaking at the Event, The Obi of Onitsha who was one of the guest speakers indicated that Most of the social investment and development programs in Anambra State today, were mostly attracted by the sons and daughters of Anambra South Senatorial zone using Dr. Alex Ekwueme as a focal point.

He further urge the traditional rulers, major stakeholders and the people of Anambra South Senatorial zone to try as much as possible not to loose this opportunity/ mandate giving to them by the people of Anambra State.

Traditional Rulers from all the 7 Local Government areas of the zone were present.

In attendance were:

The Chairman of South East.

House of Representatives members from the Zone.

Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly and its Members from the Zone

Host of other Government Functionaries,

Commending the Obi Of Onitsha at the event, Hon. Engr. Emmanuel Obinna Nwafor who took cognisance of the problems inhibiting peace in the zone, urged all the traditional rulers and the people/Stakeholders in Anambra South to work in harmony towards a better and greater Anambra South!!!
