Ghen Ghen: Tiwa Savage Leaves Mavins Records

Following the announcement of her new deal with Universal Music Group, Tiwa Savage has left Mavin Records.

There had been rumours circulating about this for a while now but they are no longer rumours as Don Jazzy has confirmed it.

In a post on Instagram, Don Jazzy thanked her for all her years of service and also said that she will forever be the first lady of Mavin.

Our darling Tiwatope. We at Mavin would like to say a very big thank you for being such an inspiration to all of us, a friend, a sister. It’s been an epic journey with you and we are very proud of what we have achieved together. As you start this new chapter in your life we want you to know that we are solidly behind you and can’t wait for the world to see what we have always believed you can be. Your jersey as the First Lady of Mavin will forever be yours as we do not intend to fill that position with anyone else. We love you from the bottom of heart and pray GOD’s blessings continue to follow you. Amennnn.
Tiwa Savage becomes the second artist to leave Mavins records in recent times. The first was Reekado Banks who left in December 2018 and started his own label called Banks Music.
We might be getting an announcement from Tiwa Savage about the future of her music after leaving Mavins.
We will update you as soon as that announcement is made.
